Honestly, I am torn about this issue. I am appalled that Obama has stooped to enlist our youth into his fight to destroy our great country. On September 8, 2009, Obama will be addressing your child in schools in what is promoted as encouraging education. According to Fox News, he is encouraging teachers into assigning their students with reading books about him. He also is asking our youth to write a letter to themselves on how they can help Obama with his agenda. What would the Democrats say if Bush or Cheney did that?
I hate to put our kids in the middle of this battle for our freedom. We do have to have a plan. I would say completely shield them from the brainwashing or amour them with the truth. As a parent you must take into account their age and maturity on this matter.
I believe we can make this exploitation backfire just as the boycott on Whole Foods did. It actually encouraged a “BUY cott”. In my opinion, we should discourage the schools from this media blitz. If it were I, I would consider whether attending school for the exercise and presentation would be in the best interest of my child’s well-being.
