A Disturbing Story (plus a surprise)

On May 25, 1911, an African American couple was lynched near Okemah, Oklahoma. Many took part of this sick event. Among those folks was Charles Guthrie, father of folk singer/communist Woody Guthrie. Not only did he take part of this event, but he was also a member of the Ku Klux Klan. Here’s the “surprise”. Charles was a DEMOCRAT!!! He is one of many that the Democrats today do not want to talk about, especially with Obama in office. It’s truly a shame that the party that freed the slaves is now demonized by the party that wanted slavery! God help us all!
