THREATENING SIGN FOR OBAMA AND FAMILY: WACKO OR STAGED?
August 14th, 2009
David Dishneau Associated Press Writer reported a man carried a sign saying “Death to Obama” outside a town hall meeting on health-care reform in Maryland. On the other side was, “Death to Michelle and her two stupid kids”.
The shortsighted will easily take this horrible incident at face value. The not so shortsighted will look a little past the obvious and see the not so obvious. It is no secret that a connection between Obama and the radical techniques of Saul Alinsky’s has been reported repeatedly. Below is a quote from Sanford D. Horwitt’s biography of Saul Alinksy “Let Them Call Me Rebel”
Quote:
“…in the spring of 1972, at Tulane University…students asked Alinsky to help plan a protest of a scheduled speech by George H. W. Bush, then U.S. representative to the United Nations – a speech likely to include a defense of the Nixon administration’s Vietnam War policies. The students told Alinsky they were thinking about picketing or disrupting Bush’s address. That’s the wrong approach, he rejoined, not very creative – and besides causing, a disruption might get them thrown out of school. He told them, instead, to go to hear the speech dressed as members of the Ku Klux Klan, and whenever Bush said something in defense of the Vietnam War, they should cheer and wave placards reading, ‘The KKK supports Bush.’ And that is what they did, with very successful, attention-getting results.”
Presently we have no way to know for sure the truth behind this man and his sign. We do know other facts though. We know Obama supporters have professionally printed signs while the grass roots conservatives and independents have hand written ones. We know the Obama administration have been recruiting health care bill supporters by offering up to 600.00 per week. We also know Pelosi, Reid and Obama have resorted to name calling and false accusations in an attempt to discredit many concerned and angry citizens at the town hall meetings.
It is also quite odd to me that this man wasn’t attacked by any leftist radicals. In a previous post, I reported on Kenneth Gladney being beaten by union members for peacefully giving or selling “Don’t Tread on Me” flags. Is it possible the man and his sign was a plant just like those in the Saul Alinsky story? If so, he not being attacked is FISHY. It would make sense that if he were a plant he would likely have been accompanied by others as protection.
At this time, we just don’t know. However, we can’t just take it for granted that this man was legitimate. We also know he is in no way representative of the grassroots conservative movement. It is possible he was a nut job with a death wish, but more likely then not, he was a plant.
